Box Office: ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’ fails to get Pakistan release clearance

Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif’s upcoming thriller ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’ has landed in a spot of trouble after its release in Pakistan was halted.

The film, which will hit cinemas across India on Friday 22nd December, is unlikely to get cleared in time for release in Pakistan next week. The earlier film ‘Ek Tha Tiger’ was also not cleared by the censor board in Pakistan.

“Consequently, the Ministry of Information, Broadcasting, National History and Literary Heritage has refused to grant a No-Objection Certificate for the film upon CBFC’s recommendation. It is reported that Pakistan related scenes is the basis for the film’s non-clearance,” reported Dawn News.
