Box Office: ‘Super 30’ emerges as Hrithik Roshan’s fourth biggest hit ever

Hrithik Roshan’s ‘Super 30’ is holding extremely well in its second week at the box office. The biographical educational drama currently stands with the grand total of Rs 107 crore and with this numbers, it has surpassed the business of HR’s previous release ‘Kaabil’ (2017) and has now emerged his fourth-highest grosser after ‘Krrish 3’ (2013), ‘Bang Bang’ (2014), and ‘Agneepath’ (2012). ‘Super 30’ is expected to pass ‘Agneepath’ by the end of its third weekend at the box office.

Roshan, who plays the role of Anand Kumar, is overwhelmed with the response. “Students in school uniforms coming to cinemas on a Sunday, was big surprise for me. Such sights are not just delightful, but also inspiring for the performers and creators of a movie. I am sure, the entire team of Super 30 would feel blessed with this affection,” he said.

‘Super 30,’ which is based on the life of Kumar, who runs the Super 30 programme for IIT-JEE aspirants from poor families, has been made tax-free by the Gujarat government, reports Bollywood Life. The film has already been made tax-free by the Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh and Bihar governments.

Directed by Vikas Bahl, the film also stars Mrunal Thakur, Nandish Singh Sandhu, Pankaj Tripathi and Aditya Srivastava in key roles.
