Box Office: ‘Pati Patni Aur Woh Do’ and ‘Gabru’ postponed to avert clash with ‘Dhurandhar 2’

The releases of ‘Pati Patni Aur Woh Do’ and ‘Gabru’ have been postponed, with both films stepping aside to avoid a box‑office clash with the highly anticipated ‘Dhurandhar 2’.

A source told Bollywood Hungama, “‘Gabru’ was scheduled to release in cinemas on 13th March. But now, the makers have decided to push the release. They are considering a few options and are expected to lock a date soon. Once done, they’ll make an official announcement.”

While the official reason for the delay has not been confirmed, industry insiders suggest the timing may have played a role. A trade source explained, “The holy month of Ramzan will be underway in mid‑March, which could limit footfalls from a section of the audience. Moreover, the much‑awaited films ‘Dhurandhar: The Revenge’ and ‘Toxic’ are set to clash on 19th March. Sunny Deol’s track record has strengthened after the blockbuster success of ‘Border 2’ and ‘Gadar 2’ (2023). It makes sense to arrive at a time when a larger number of cinemagoers will be available to catch the film on the big screen.”

New release dates for ‘Pati Patni Aur Woh Do’ and ‘Gabru’ are expected to be announced soon.
