This weekend’s two new releases ‘Aligarh’ and ‘Tere Bin Laden – Dead Or Alive’ have had disappointing starts at the domestic box office.

According to Box Office India, both films struggled to reach 10% collections on their opening day. The report adds that the bigger cities like Hyderabad reported bad starts for ‘Aligarh’ despite it opening up before noon in some centres.

‘Tere Bin Laden – Dead Or Alive’, a sequel of the 2010 film, may disappoint further in its opening weekend. The original did not make much impact at the box office but ran for up to five weeks due to a minority of the audience.

Other releases ‘Love Shagun’ and ‘Jab Tum Kaho’ were negligible.

‘Neerja’ will continue to dominate the box office.
