Box Office: ‘Bajirao Mastani’ overtakes ‘Dilwale’ in India

After ten days of release, Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Bajirao Mastani’ has leaped ahead of Rohit Shetty’s blockbuster ‘Dilwale’.

According to official data, collections of ‘Dilwale’ have dipped during the past few days, whereas the strong word of mouth for ‘Bajirao Mastani’ has helped in keeping the film’s business steady. In its second weekend of release ‘Dilwale’ collected Rs. 20.25 crores taking the film’s total up to Rs. 118.25 crores, while ‘Bajirao Mastani’ stands at Rs. 120.45 crores in ten days of its release.

Both films are expected to do good business over the next few days as there is no competition from any new releases until ‘Wazir’ on 8th January 2016.
