Box Office: Akshay Kumar’s ‘Bhooth Bangla’ postponed by two months
Akshay Kumar’s upcoming horror‑comedy ‘Bhooth Bangla’ has been pushed back by two months, with the makers opting to avoid a direct box‑office clash with the highly anticipated ‘Dhurandhar 2’. The film, which marks Akshay’s reunion with director Priyadarshan after 14 years, was originally slated for an April 2026 release.
Producers have now confirmed that ‘Bhooth Bangla’ will arrive in cinemas on 15th May 2026, nearly eight weeks after ‘Dhurandhar 2’, which is scheduled to hit theatres on 19th March 2026. The strategic shift is aimed at giving the film a clearer run at the box office.
