Box Office: ‘Airlift’ crosses Rs. 100 crore in India

Akshay Kumar’s much talked about recently released ‘Airlift’ has become the first film of 2016 to cross Rs. 100 crore at the India box office.

The film collected Rs. 6.50 crores on its second Saturday and Rs. 8.26 crores on its second Sunday, taking the grand total of the film to Rs. 102.76 crores.

‘Airlift’ has not faced any major competition, with films like ‘Kya Kool Hain Hum 3’, ‘Mastizaade’ and ‘Saala Khadoos’ failing to ignite any magic at the box office.

This week will see the release of Sunny Deol’s ‘Ghayal Once Again’.
