BizAsia ties up with first ever Asian Media Awards

The UK’s only Asian media and entertainment website, BizAsia has been confirmed as the official online media partner for the first ever Asian Media Awards.

The awards aim to recognise the strength and depth of the media industry in the UK. They also look to reward the ground-breaking work of reporters and producers in highlighting issues affecting race relations and human rights.

It is the first event of its kind to reward the Asian media industry in this way.

The event will be launched at MediaCityUK on Thursday 25th April 2013.

Umbreen Ali, Media Manager at the awards said, ���I think it is only fitting that we host the launch for such an event at MediaCityUK.

���MediaCityUK now boasts among others, major studios and offices for the BBC and ITV. We are delighted to be able to host the launch here.

Partners for the event include ITV. The judging panel include representatives from Press Association Training and MediaCom.
