Birthday Love: Five of Rishi Rich’s popular collaborations
An artist who has managed to launch so many big names in the music industry and not only that has also had his music featured in Bollywood films. His talent has inspired many to follow in his tracks as the sound he created was unlike anything heard before. We are talking about the music producer, song writer Rishi Rich who celebrates his birthday today.

‘Sukhbir’ in ‘Tere Naal Naal’
The album ‘Tere Naal Nachna’ (2008) saw Sukhbir known for his influence in the Bhangra music scene join hands with Rishi Rich in the title track. It had all the elements to be the perfect party number with Rishi Rich’s captivating beats and Sukhbir with his mind blowing vocals. The song is still as popular as ever with the music video having more than four million views.
‘Taz- Stereo Nation and Mumzy’ in ‘Larl Larl Buleeya’
In 2010 the track ‘larl larl buleeya’ made a return but this time in the British comedy film ‘It’s a Wonderful Afterlife’. The remix featured the one and only Taz from Stereo Nation who had originally sung the song in 1994, taken from his album ‘Spirits Of Rhythm.’
The new version also featured Mumzy who rapped in the song and Rishi Rich who added his magic touch to the music.
It was a fun and energetic number that could get anyone up and moving.
‘Hunterz and Veronica’ in ‘Manja Soniya’
Taken from Veronica’s album ‘Rush’ (2010) this became a favourite of many. Even today when people hear this song they are reminded of the 2000s. It was a romantic number that was filmed abroad in some beautiful locations with both Veronica and Hunterz featuring in the music video.

Veronica’s soft vocals and Hunterz’s classical touch worked perfectly with the sounds of Rishi Rich. Not many would have thought to bring these three artists together but their different styles seemed to work creating a memorable track.
’Javeed Bashir’ in ‘Nahin Tere Jeha Hor Disda’
Over the years many versions of this song have been created. From different styles to different singers they all brought something unique to this song. That being said this particular version taken from the album ‘Simply Rich’ (2002) hits different. Rishi rich mixes it up with his western beats and combines the classical vocals of Javeed Bashir to create a masterpiece. It’s been over ten years but this version continues to remain popular and ever fresh.
‘Jay Sean and Juggy D’ in ‘Dance With You (Nachna Tere Naal)’
‘Dance With You (Nachna Tere Naal’) (2003) was the track where it all began. In the early 2000s this song was played on almost every radio station and music channel around the UK. The song had everything from Punjabi lyrics, R&B vibes and some heavy beats, it was unlike anything heard before. Juggy D was known to sing in Punjabi while Jay Sean would sing in English and sometimes rap. Rishi Rich would produce the music and with the three of them combined, they created some big hits with this being the first of them.
