Bipasha & Karan to give grand wedding reception a miss

Bipasha Basu is all set to tie the knot with her ‘Alone’ (2015) co-star Karan Singh Grover on 30th April. With just a week to go, it’s come to light that the couple will not be having a wedding reception.

According to TOI, on the night of the wedding, there will be a low-key party with only close friends and family invited. “It will be an intimate get-together with the couple’s closest friends coming down to make their big day special,” said a source.

There will be a haldi ceremony in the morning of 30th April and then a traditional Bengali wedding ceremony will follow. The couple, however, haven’t been open about the details of the wedding with Basu taking care of every minute detail. The source reveals, “She wants everything in the wedding to be a surprise, even for Karan. Bipasha is personally taking care of every minute detail of the main function. Her parents (who flew down from Kolkata just a few days ago) are helping her with the arrangements.”

Basu’s mehndi event will take place on 29th April, with the theme being pink.
