Chief Minister of Bihar, Nitish Kumar has said that his government has recommended a CBI probe into Sushant Singh Rajput’s death.
He said the decision was taken after a meeting between Rajput’s father, KK Singh and the state police chief. Kumar was cited in Hindustan Times saying, “The DGP spoke to Sushant Singh Rajput’s father this morning and he gave consent for CBI inquiry. So now, we are recommending CBI probe in the matter.”
A Public Interest Litigation (PIL) has been filed before the Bombay High Court about a CBI inquiry. It was scheduled to be held on Tuesday but has been postponed due to the heavy rain in Mumbai.
