Preparations are well on the way for Bhumi Pednekar’s forthcoming film ‘Son Chiraiya’, which also stars Sushant Singh Rajput in the film.
Reported in Deccan Chronicle, the film which is based on Chambal dacoits, is almost ready to start shooting and Pednekar can’t wait to get going. “The prep is going great — we are starting very soon. It is a phenomenal script. There is lot of nervousness. I have some brilliant co-stars, and you have to up your game all the time. So, it is a lot of good and nervous energy,” says Pednekar.
Having already had two successes at the box office with ‘Toilet: Ek Prem Katha’ (2017) and ‘Shubh Mangal Saavdhan’ (2017), Pednekar explains she always looks for a strong storyline. “Being an actor, you want to work in successful films. It is a humbling experience as well. You always feel good when your instinct and gut works. It comes back to the point that content is king. Hence, I always go for strong stories and characters.”
‘Son Chiraiya’ will be directed by Abhishek Chaubey.
