‘Bhooth Bangla’ postponed by a week to avoid clash with ‘Dhurandhar: The Revenge’
Akshay Kumar’s upcoming horror‑comedy ‘Bhooth Bangla’ has been postponed, with the film no longer releasing on its previously announced April 2026 date. Industry sources indicate that the shift is a strategic move, designed to avoid a direct box‑office clash with the high‑performing ‘Dhurandhar: The Revenge’, which continues to dominate cinemas nationwide.
The makers are now eyeing 17th April 2026 as the revised release date, allowing the film a clearer theatrical window and greater screen availability. The postponement has also resulted in a minor adjustment to the promotional schedule, with the trailer launch expected to move into early April.
