BBC Asian Network Certified returns to Birmingham with Dr Zeus, AJD & Dipps Bhamrah
BBC Asian Network’s flagship live music event, Asian Network Certified, is set to return to Birmingham on Saturday 15th November at XOYO Birmingham.
Headlining the night is Birmingham DJ and producer Dr Zeus, joined by a line-up that includes AJD, Dipps Bhamrah, DJ Limelight, Junglebandi, Kizzi, Manara, MR.O and DJ Kades, Nav Mischief, Ramnik, and others. The evening will be hosted by Asian Network presenters Nikita Kanda and Haroon Rashid.
The programme will showcase a mix of British Asian music, UK Garage, Punjabi Hip-Hop, RnB and Bollywood, reflecting the station’s diverse on-air offering.
Dr Zeus said he was excited to headline in his hometown and promised a set spanning his career with some surprises on the night. Head of Asian Network, Ahmed Hussain, said the event celebrates British Asian identity, culture and music, and marks a significant moment as the station continues to broadcast from Birmingham.
Highlights of the event will be broadcast BBC Asian Network and BBC Sounds on Friday 21st November from 6pm.
