Barun Sobti on ‘IPKKND 3’: “It’s not possible to predict TRPs every week”

With news now confirmed about Star Plus’ ‘Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon -Season 3’ going off air next month, Barun Sobti in an interview this week spoke about the TRPs game in India.

Talking to Pune Mirror, Sobti, who is promoting his film ‘Tu Hai Mera Sunday’ said, “It’s not possible to predict TRPs every week. Yes, the story is impacted from week to week but the larger storyline remains the same.”

‘Tu Hai Mera Sunday’, which releases in October revolves around a group of friends, who enjoy playing football every Sunday. Talking about the theme of the film, Sobti added, “I love playing all kinds of sports, especially football and cricket, basketball is the only one I am not good at. For this film, we trained under Dinesh Nair of the Mumbai Football Club. I would look forward to the training. It didn’t feel like a shoot. We shot the film in Mumbai and Goa.”

He also added that he wasn’t a regular user of social media. He said, I am not active on social media. I only have a Twitter account but I don’t read all reactions and comments from fans.”

The final episode of ‘Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon – Season 3’ will air on Friday 6th October.
