Arshad Warsi to try hand at direction?

Best known for his comical roles in projects like the ‘Munnabhai’ and ‘Golmaal’ films franchises, it has been rumoured that Arshad Warsi taking his first steps into directing.

When speaking to reporters Warsi confirmed, “Vashu Bhagnani has signed me as the director…”. NDTV reports��that the film will be an action thriller and Warsi is very keen on casting good friend and co-star Sanjay Dutt, “Sanjay is my first option. I want to work with actors who are less troubling in nature.��The new generation of actors are really cool. Since this is my first project as a director, I want to work with actors, who would actually help me make this film.”

Having a few other acting projects in the pipeline such as Abhishek Chaubey’s ‘Dedh Ishqiya’ as well as preparing for ‘Munnabhai 3’, which Rajesh Mapuskar will be directing, Warsi��is very keen to try new things, “I am a pretty decent actor and people appreciate my comedy. But I want to try everything under the sun.”
