Arjun Rampal gangster film named ‘Daddy’

As reported on BizAsia previously, Arjun Rampal will play a gangster-turned-politician in his next, which has been named ‘Daddy’.

Deccan Chronicle reports that he will play the role of Arun Gawli, who’s crimes included kidnapping people, torturing them and extorting money from their families. He has also been booked for murder. He was convicted for the murder of Shiv Sena leader Kamalakar Jamsandekar by a court in August 2012. Till the killing he enjoyed a close relationship with the Shiv Sena.

Rampal is said to be working on his image by losing lots of weight for the role. He is also planning to meet the gangster himself in person.
