Arijit Singh records special track for ‘Padmavati’

Popular playback singer Arijit Singh has lent his vocals to Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s last two blockbuster films. Now, news has it that Singh has been roped in for another track in the forthcoming ‘Padmavati’. He’s record the song recently.

A source revealed to Mumbai Mirror, “Arijit recently recorded a composition which will be one of the highlights of the film. The singer was in Kolkata to celebrate Durga Pooja when the filmmaker, who shares a warm equation with him, discussed the track with him. Bhansali was so keen on having the playback singer on-board that he waited for him to return from Kolkata to record the soulful track”.

The film is set to star Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone and Shahid Kapoor. It’s slated for release in November 2017.
