Anushka Sharma has joined the many celebrities who have campaigned for a ‘noise-free’ Diwali. Although, this Diwali, Sharma’scampaignwill focuson the adverse effect of firecrackers on animals.

As according to Mumbai Mirror, Sharma’s campaign, ‘Pawsitivity’, is aimed at ‘sensitizing people about the adverse effects of noise, air, waiter and soil pollution on animals.’ Sharma confirmed, saying,”The focus of the initiative is to generate interest amongst the youth and children through innovation and technology. Animals make the world a better place and it is out responsibility to be sensitive towards them as they don’t have a voice. When someone bursts a firecracker, they don’t realize how badly it affects animals and birds. I want people to care and avoid making noise.”

Meanwhile, Sharma is also currently shooting for her next, ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’, with Ranbir Kapoor.
