Anushka Sharma says “wait” for wedding announcement

Rumours of Anushka Sharma getting hitched to beau Virat Kohli have surfaced again after the latter met Sharma’s father for lunch recently.

BizAsia reported yesterday that the trio went to lunch with pictures of the meet going viral thereafter. Sharma was quick to shoot down the rumours and issued a statement via her spokesperson.

The statement said, “There is no truth to the stories/rumours about Anushka sharma’s impending wedding. Currently she is busy and happy with her work commitments. She has always been open about her life and would appreciate it and request everyone to wait for her to make announcements about her life instead of speculating.”

Sharma is currently filming ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ with Ranbir Kapoor.
