Anurag Basu does not blame Salman Khan

Anurag Basu’s ‘Jagga Jasoos’ has been in the making for quite some time already. Starring Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif, it was said that the January schedule for the film was delayed even more due to Kapoor and Kaif’s alleged break-up. Many speculated that Basu blamed Salman Khan for the delay, as Kaif had allegedly spent time with Khan instead of shooting for the film.

Basu has taken to his Twitter account to deny this. He states, “Me blaming Salman for the delay of jagga.:-)HOW WHEN??! Person who created this news shd write fiction we need good writers in the industry.”

It can be noted that Basu made headlines last year when he expressed his opinion that he would rather work with a “risky” actor like Ranbir Kapoor than someone like Salman Khan who is “doing same thing film after film”.

The film is slated for release on 3rd June.
