Anup Jalota self isolates over coronavirus fears after UK/Europe tour

Ghazal singer, Anup Jalota has self quarantined himself over coronavirus fears after his UK/Europe tour.

Jalota took to his social media to share that he had been undergoing tests as a precautionary measure. He also praised the medical care offered by Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC). He said, “I am in awe with the Medical Care offered by BMC for passengers who are 60+. I was taken to Hotel Mirage as I landed MUM from LDN ;a team of doctors was sent to attend me. I appeal each passenger landing here to cooperate and help in controlling the further spread #COVID19india”

Jalota also informed Bombay Times, “I had gone to London for some work and landed in Mumbai yesterday, at 4 am. At the airport, the authorities announced that we’d be checked for coronavirus symptoms and those above 60 will be kept in isolation for 48 hours. I am 66 years old and I cooperated. I am staying at a city hotel, where the doctors are monitoring me. I don’t have any symptoms so far and it could be because I have a good immune system. I practise yoga and meditation and also regularly consume 1500 mg of vitamin C. It has helped me keep away from cough and cold for many years now.”

Jalota performed in Leicester and London over the weekend.
