Anil Kapoor wants Sonam to work with Ranveer Singh

Sonam Kapoor is undoubtedly on a career-high post the release of ‘Neerja’, which has won her critical and commercial acclaim. Her father, Anil Kapoor, hopes to see Sonam work with actor Ranveer Singh soon.

Absolute India quote Anil Kapoor as having told Agencies, “I would want that Ranveer and Sonam work together. I feel they can really do something special because they know each other since many years. I think someone should cast them together.”

Anil himself worked with Singh in ‘Dil Dhadakne Do’ (2015) and the two hit it off really well as costars. Although they are relatives and Singh has grown up knowing Anil, the duo became friendly only while��working on the film together.

With Sonam and Singh being second cousins it is unlikely that Anil wishes for them to be paired romantically onscreen. Either way,��is to be seen if��Anil’s public wish is granted soon and whether there is a film starring Sonam and Singh on the cards.
