Alpha ETC Punjabi launches in Europe

ZEE Network are spreading their wings further by
launching yet another channel in other parts of Europe.
The already hugely popular Alpha ETC Punjabi channel was
made available in the UK two years ago and now can be
seen in other European cities.

Alpha ETC Punjabi launched on Hotbird over the weekend
and will use the same feed as the UK channel. Alpha ETC
Punjabi will be free to air until 9th June 2004. It can
be received from Hotbird III 13 degrees East and is
available for just 50 Euros extra per month or 220 Euros
stand alone annually.

Alpha ETC Punjabi along with ZEE TV and ZEE Cinema will
cost 300 Euros per annum. “We are delighted to be
launching Alpha ETC Punjabi in Europe. After ZEE TV and
ZEE Cinema, the launch of Alpha ETC Punjabi epitomizes
our commitment to our viewers’ in Europe to provide the
very best in South Asian entertainment.” said a
spokesperson from ZEE Network, UK.

Alpha ETC Punjabi is the only channel in the world that
carries exclusive coverage from the Golden Temple direct
from Amritsar, Punjab. As well as that, two movies a
week and hit shows such as Ghuggi Express, Akhada, Mata
Da Darbar, Pardesan Wich Punjabi and Jugnu Masta Da.
