Alia Bhatt reveals story behind her bikini body for ‘Shaandaar’

Getting a bikini body isn’t something easy and Alia Bhatt has shared her experience of getting the perfect shape for a bikini photoshoot for her upcoming film ‘Shaandaar’ alongside the newly married Shahid Kapoor.

She said that she gone through long cycling sessions during the film’s shoot. “The location was so beautiful that I used to do a lot of cycling around the place. And as I had to shoot in a bikini it helped me a lot. Whether we had a shoot or not, me, Shahid and Ishaan (Shahid’s brother) didn’t miss a chance to work out in the fresh air,” the actress told Mid-Day.

“The scenic beauty of the location made me do more jogging, exercising in fresh air. So it eased me a lot for the bikini shoot. In Mumbai, we hardly get so much open place and fresh air to exercise. It was a really wonderful experience for me,” she added.

‘Shaandaar’, which is directed by Vikas Bahl under the banner of Phantom Films and Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions, is scheduled for release on 22nd October.
