AICWA sends letter to PM Narendra Modi to ban Indian content in Pakistan


After the Pulwama attack, there have been many that have said that the Indian and Pakistan film industries should not be collaborating.

On Tuesday, president of the All Indian Cine Workers Association (AICWA) Suresh Shyamlal Gupta requested Prime Minister Narendra Modi to ban “the release of any Indian movie or content in Pakistan.”

In the letter, Gupta also wrote that he was writing on the “behalf of entire film and media fraternity” for a “complete shut down on issuing any visa to Pakistani actors, Film Association, and media fraternity.”
