With the success of the first film taking the silver screens by storm, audiences seem to be all ready and geared up for Remo D’Souza’s sequel film ‘ABCD 2’. Much to his excitement as well, D’Souza has revealed where the film’s storyline came from.

“This film is based on a true story. It’s the story of Fictitious Dance Academy from Nalasopara that went all the way from a small town to win a dance show in Las Vegas,”NDTV reported the film maker stating.

Fictitious Dance Academy is lead by famous dancersSuresh and Vernon. Their fame rose when they had entered and won many dance competitions such as ‘Boogie Woogie’, the third cycle of ‘India’s Got Talent’ and when they entered theWorld Hip Hop Championship Dance Academy in 2012.

Wanting to stay close to the journey, D’souza explained how he didn’t change much of what the dancers went through to get to their goal. “I didn’t twist their story much as this original story was so good and inspiring,” he added.

Starring Varun Dhawan and Shraddha Kapoor, ‘ABCD 2’ is set for release on 19th June.
