Aamir Khan still not signed for Rakesh Sharma biopic

Aamir Khan was rumoured to have showed an interest in and been signed for the upcoming biopic on Rakesh Sharma, the first Indian to travel to space. However, it seems this speculation has been false.

Khan interacted with media on the occasion of his 52nd birthday and he confirmed there’s only one film he’s signed. DNA quotes Khan, “The only film I am doing now is Thugs Of Hindostan. That’s the only thing I am working on. I have not signed any other film”.

The Sharma biopic was apparently meant to be called ‘Saare Jahan Se Acha’ but it remains to be seen whether Khan does bag the protagonist’s role.
