9XM to launch song & dance cookery show

9XM has announced the launch of a new innovative show, which will see the combination of song, dance and cooking.

The show titled ‘Kuch Kook Hota Hai’, which has previously been shown in caplets on the channel will now, be turned into a full fledged series due to its growing popularity. The programme will feature acclaimed television actress Sarita Joshi and promising young actor Manish Paul.

According to a company release, “The concept of ‘Kuch Kook Hota Hai’ ensures a scrumptious dose of entertainment. A wannabe cook dreams big of becoming a world famous chef someday and in the pursuit of his dream he attempts cooking some dishes that he believes, are delectable delights. What the wannabe chef doesn�۪t know is that his daadi is a pro when it comes to cooking and many other things in life.”

‘Kuch Kook Hota Hai’ will entail a humorous banter between ‘Daadi Maa’ (Sarita Joshi) and ‘Manu ��� a wannabe chef’ (Manish Paul); where through a fun chit chat they will actually cook dishes to satiate viewers�۪ delight. Also, for the first time in the history of a cookery show, the chef will give out the recipe through an entertaining song and dance snippet followed by an in-depth presentation later in the show.

‘Kuch Kook Hota Hai’ will air Monday to Thursday at 12:30 beginning Monday 28th September.
