‘Zero’ sequel on the way?

The film has only just released today but it seems a sequel for Aanand L Rai’s ‘Zero’ could already be in the offing.

Sources have said that the character Bauua Singh, played by Shah Rukh Khan, is here to stay but there’s no guarantee that a continuation of the story or character would be on the big screen. According to Deccan Chronicle, a source said, “It could be one sequel, or several spin-offs. Both Shah Rukh and Rai have fallen in love with Babua’s character. He represents that incompleteness which makes all of us identify with him. And yet in spite of his ‘short’comings he is optimistic and ebullient. It’s a character that needs to be taken forward. He is the hero of our times”.

The film also stars Anushka Sharma and Katrina Kaif.
