ZEEL appoints Sandeep Mehrotra as COO, Ad Revenue
Zee Entertainment Enterprises Ltd. (‘Z’) has appointed Sandeep Mehrotra as Chief Operating Officer, Advertisement Revenue, effective 3rd February 2026.
In his new role, Mehrotra will be responsible for strengthening the company’s advertising revenue capabilities by harnessing the combined potential of its linear and digital businesses. He will be based at the company’s Mumbai headquarters and will report directly to Chief Executive Officer Punit Goenka.
Mehrotra brings extensive experience in leading large‑scale P&L operations, multi‑portfolio monetisation and enterprise growth across complex, consumer‑facing sectors. His remit will include enhancing advertising revenue, building scale and ensuring that the company continues to deliver meaningful value to its advertisers. He will play a key role in shaping strategy, driving innovation and accelerating revenue across both broadcast and digital platforms.
Laxmi Shetty will continue to head the advertisement revenue vertical for Broadcast & Digital, with a focus on further strengthening the company’s commercial performance under Mehrotra’s leadership.
