ZEE TV to launch new ‘Ramayan’ series

ZEE TV has appointed production house Sagar Pictures to work on a new series of ‘Ramayan’.

‘Ramayan’, which has been shown in various avatars before and also previously on ZEE TV, will be shown in a larger scale this time around.

The new look ‘Ramayan’ will air on ZEE TV, most likely on Sunday mornings starting in August. The show is expected to go into production in July.

Sagar Arts has quite recently worked with Imagine TV on ‘Dwarkadheesh’ – even though the show did well, the channel has since decided to closedown.
