ZEE TV to end ‘Tashan-E-Ishq’ in September

ZEE TV will be ending its popular series ‘Tashan-E-Ishq’ in September.

The show will bow out on Friday 16th September, according to Times Of India. The news comes days after a new lead was introduced on the show. Naman Shaw joined the show to take over from Sidhant Gupta, who left earlier this year to particpate in this season’s ‘Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa’.

Jasmin Bhasin, lead actress of ‘Tashan-E-Ishq’ told the publication, “It’s sad, but true.”

Meanwhile, Zain Imam, added, “It’s sad to know that the show, which you have worked hard for, is shutting down. But I am certain that it’s for the better. I am hoping that there is something bigger in store for me after this. Having said that, I am definitely going to miss my ‘Tashan’ family.”

ZEE TV has lined up several new shows for the festive season. A replacement for ‘Tashan-E-Ishq’ is yet be officially confirmed.
