ZEE TV becomes first Indian channel in China

ZEE TV has become the first Indian entertainment channel to foray into China, after six years of negotiations.

According to��The Financial Express, it will be for first time, Indian cultural content including TV dramas will be distributed in the Chinese television market. Some of the translated versions of the Indian drama serials are already popular in Chinese channels.

ZEE TV acquired the rights in China after receiving the landing agreement from CTV-STVP, which is the sole agent authorised by China to distribute the foreign landed channels in the country.

ZEE TV Asia Pacific channels except news channels can be seen in major hotels all over China.
