After the departures of ‘Kasamh Se’ and ‘Rakhi’ from ZEE TV, the channel has dropped yet another show due to falling ratings.

The latest victim is the Aruna Irani produced show ‘Naaginn’, which is facing the axe after a year and a half on-air next month.

Confirming the news, producer and actor Aruna Irani told TellyChakkar, “Yes, it is true that Naaginn will wind up on 11th April. Apparently, the channel wasn۪t happy with the TRPs so they decided to end our show. I respect their decision. Besides, I too personally think that we had reached a saturation point. I۪m just happy that a show like Naaginn lasted for a year and half. That۪s testimony to our success.”

Aruna Irani is producing another show for ZEE TV, which will go on-air later this year, around July.

Update (24/03/09): In the UK, ‘Naaginn’ will continue to air once-per-week.
