ZEE Telugu has confirmed that it has remade ZEE TV’s popular daily fiction ‘Guddan Tumse Na Ho Payega’.
The Telugu version known as ‘Hitler Gari Pellam’, which stars Nirupam Paritala and Gomathi Priya. It launched on ZEE Telugu in mid-August.
Paritala, the son of renowned writer-actor Ohmkar Paritala, is rather more popular with his screen name ‘Pranay’. He struck gold with his first serial ‘Chandramukhi’ and managed to continue the hit streak with current series ‘Karthika Deepma’ on Star Maa.
However, earning his place in TV wasn’t a cake walk for Paritala either. “I always knew I wanted to do acting and somehow took my dad for granted. Losing my father just days before shifting to Hyderabad was a big blow. I was clueless and didn’t know where to start. People respected me as my father’s son. They would allow me into their offices and even offer tea but not work,” says the most-sought-after TV actor.
Well, Paritala has great writing chops too and he credits his father for it. “Of course, it is in the DNA. During the peak of his career, he would sometimes give me some scenes to give a shot at writing. I recently wrote a film but I can never match his wit and sarcasm,” elaborates Paritala.
‘Guddan Tumse Na Ho Payega’ returned to ZEE TV, three months after the coronavirus lockdown, earlier this month. ZEE Telugu is hoping ‘Hitler Gari Pellam’ will repeat the same success as the original.
