ZEE Punjabi and ZEE Cafe have swapped EPG numbers on Sky Digital to give the latter more prominence.
ZEE Punjabi has been relegated to EPG 846 and making way for ZEE Cafe, which incidentally has been revamped today with fresh programming and packaging. ZEE Cafe will now turn into a secondary entertainment channel and it’s output will consist of re-run and classic ZEE TV shows.
The move comes as ZEE battles for eyeballs after the launch of Rishtey on Sky Digital last week. Rishtey has been positioned as a secondary channel to Colors by showing repeats and re-runs of Viacom18 channels including CNN IBN.
ZEE Punjabi will now be available on Sky channel 846, the first major EPG move since the channel launched in the UK.
