ZEE Network UK moves into film distribution

Europe’s numero uno Asian TV network-ZEE is set for HUGE exposure with its latest marketing strategy marketing and distributing some of Bollywood’s forthcoming big movies.

The news was confirmed by a channel insider last week who also told us about the network’s plans to promote this year’s much awaited movie Mujhse Shaadi Karoge (out at the end of July) starring Salman Khan, Akshay Kumar and Priyanka Chopra. Mujshe Shaadi Karogi has been described as a sweet and pleasant light hearted romantic film about two hunks falling in love with the same girl.

Mujhse Shaadi Karoge fever has already been dominating schedules of the network’s three main channels with exclusive behind the scenes shots of the movie, interviews with the stars involved in the movie and exclusive longer length clips of the movie, not seen on any other UK channel before being screened on ZEE TV, Music and Cinema.

If that wasn’t enough, ZEE Network has already already signed a few more films for distribution before the end of the year with One Dollar Curry ?a ZEE Network production-slated for release next.

You may also recall that it was ZEE that produced Gadar Ek Prem Katha a couple of years back, which went on to become a huge hit of all time. ZEE Network will be releasing Mujhse Shaadi Karoge on Friday 30th July throughout the world.
