ZEE Network picks up global rights for TOIFA

ZEE Entertainment has confirmed that it has acquired the global telecast rights, excluding India, of the Times Of India Film Awards (TOIFA), which take place in March.

The second TOIFA, will be held on 17th and 18th March at the Dubai International Stadium.

Coverage will be broadcast in Europe, America, Middle East, Pakistan, Asia Pacific and Africa.

This partnership goes beyond the Middle East region as we have acquired international telecast rights. ZEE Entertainment Middle East chief content, creative officer Manoj Mathew said, ���At ZEE, our simple mantra is to continuously entertain and bring new content to our viewers. Varun Dhawan, who will be one of the star performers in TOIFA 2016 presented by Splash and Gulf Air said, “TOIFA was one of the first platforms where I was nominated for my work, in the best Debutant Actor Male Category for Student of the Year. I am thrilled to be associated with this amazing platform and announce TOIFA 2016 in Dubai. Last year’s event was broadcast on Sony Entertainment Television Asia.
