ZEE buys TV rights of Rang De Basanti?

If the industry grapevine is to be believed then ZEE Network has certainly scooped a big one this time around!

According to rumours and our TV insiders, the channel has reportedly bagged the worldwide satellite TV rights for this year’s much anticipated movie Rang De Basanti.

The huge film starring Aamir Khan and Soha Ali Khan will be releasing at cinemas on Wednesday 25th January and has constantly been in the news over the last week for the wrong reasons. Firstly the Indian Air Force were unhappy with the movie because of the negativity portrayed of the force in the film. Then the Animal Welfare complained that producers did not seek permission from them on the use of animals in the film. So looks like everybody wants to be a part of the Rang De Basanti craze but all this is certainly hyping and creating further excitement around the film’s release. Rang De Basanti is being distributed by UTV.
