After quitting One Direction, Zayn Malik has been one of the most sought after stars in the UK.
According to reports today, Gurinder Chadha is considering a role for the heartthrob in one of her upcoming flms.
Chadha told The Mirror, “We�۪ve met and spoken. He trained as an actor first then became part of the band. So I think what he�۪ll be doing is staying true to his heart ��� and that�۪s all you can ever do.”
However, the filmmaker, known for ‘Bend It Like Beckham’ and ‘Bride and Prejudice’ added, “I don�۪t have a part in mind for Zayn just yet but hopefully in the future.”
Malik made his first public outing at Friday night’s Asian Media Awards, since leaving the music band. A selfie picture, which also featured Shah Rukh Khan, has gone viral.
