Yo Yo Honey Singh discusses opportunities for his new collaborative artists

Yo Yo Honey Singh, currently one of the most paid artists in the Indian music industry, expressed his wish to continue giving changes to newcomers because he got many chances in his own life.

The 37-year-old started out as a recording artist, but later derived his success with music and songs for Bollywood films, alongside his independent music videos. He has already delivered multiple chart-toppers like Party with the Bhootnath, but he will be collaborating with many other new artists in the upcoming months.

He has persuaded his protege Home Dilliwala, for Shor Macheygaa, which will feature in Sanjay Gupta’s action crime ‘Mumbai Saga’. Speaking to E Times, Singh said, “Hommie came to me when he was 17. He was an eager and enthusiastic artiste who wanted to learn and grow.

“His diligence brought him so far that his first track will feature in a big ticket film”, he added.

Demonstrating the importance of opportunities, he said, “People have given me a lot of opportunities at each level. Each time I felt it was slipping away, I found help from some point, some corner.

Highlighting his simple and encouraging approach to creating music, he concluded, “The idea is to entertain people. That’s a learning I will pass on to these new kids also whose songs I will nurture the way people nurtured my songs”.
