Yash Raj Films ban mobile phones on their sets

It’s one of the most awaited films of the year… we are talking about Yash Chopra’s next biggie starring Shah Rukh Khan, Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma. No wonder then that there is a media frenzy surrounding the film. News now has it that the film’s sets are facing a mobile phone ban.

After leaked footage and pictures were splashed all over the internet after their first schedule in March 2012, Yash Raj Films has decided to ban all mobile devices on the sets of the film to stop still images and video content emerging from it’s second schedule, currently underway in London.

A production source from YRF said “Yashji was concerned that the look of the film would be given away, as there’s already a lot of leaked photos and footage from the film on the net and on YouTube.”

This is the last schedule of the film to be shot overseas, as the third schedule will be shot in India and Kashmir, as previously reported by BizAsia.

The film is all set to release Diwali 2012.
