Wrestling President Dixie Carter: “I am a really big fan of Salman Khan”

Salman Khan has received praise from American pro wrestling Dixie Carter. Total Nonstop Action (TNA) President Carter wants to bring in Khan to Impact Wrestling sometime in the future. The businesswoman has also said she would love to watch Khan’s upcoming movie ‘Sultan’, scheduled to release in Eid this year.

Speaking to International Business Times, she said, “It is a great step to release ‘Sultan’ just ahead of the Rio Olympics 2016. The movie looks fantastic. I’ve seen the trailer and I would love to watch the movie with English subtitles. Salman looks so fantastic and the hard work he has put in for the film shows the immense qualities he possesses. He has mastered so many difficult wrestling moves, and I feel the movie is going to be a great success.”

“It would be an immense pleasure to see him inside the TNA Impact Wrestling ring some day.” she said.

Carter, who began working with the TNA since 2002, also said her company held discussions with Khan to work together on a project but some ‘scheduling conflicts’ from the actor have always delayed their collaboration. She said, “We’ve talked to him in the past to collaborate in a project, but his scheduling conflicts haven’t made that happen so far. I love him. He’s a global superstar and loves to have fun and also admires sports. It would be a dream to work with him on a project.”

“He’s a great talent and he’s a fan favourite. Everyone loves him and one of his key qualities is he takes a stand for everything he does and says. I am a really big fan of Salman and I also love how he congratulates athletes on Twitter.” she concluded.
