More women speak out against TVF Arunabh Kumar

Accusations have been flowing through against Arunabh Kumar, a day after a woman under the alias of India Fowler, openly spoke out that she had allegedly been molested by the CEO of TVF.

Reported in The India Express, Fowler had written a blog post titled ‘The Indian Uber – That Is TVF’, wherein she accused Kumar of molesting her during her time at TVF between 2014 and 2016, before she decided to resign. The blog went viral and sparked a huge response from other women who had faced a similar ordeal, like one girl, named Ayushi Aggarwal who said, “I don’t know who you are but I am also an ex-TVF employee and I have had to face a similar experience working there. I felt exploited and cheated and I left my job under very bad circumstances. I hope things have worked out for you. It is indeed no place for a woman. I would never recommend anybody to work there.”

Celebrities such as director Hansal Mehta, scriptwriter Apurva Asrani and popular stand-up comedienne Aditi Mittal also joined in to show their support.

Asrani who has scripted films such ‘Aligarh’ (2015) and ‘Shahid’ (2013) tweeted “Sharing this because I know another girl who went through the same ordeal recently. #TVF #ArunabhKumar”

TVF issued a statement saying,  “All the allegations made against TVF and its team in the article are categorically false, baseless and unverified. We take a lot of pride in our team and in making TVF a safe workplace that is equally comfortable for women and men. We will leave no stone unturned to find the author of the article and bring them to severe justice for making such false allegations.”
