When Arjun Rampal met the Dalai Lama

Being one of the worlds most followed spiritual leaders, any person from whatever background is bound to be hounered and awe struck when meeting the Dalai Lama. And actor Arjun Rampal was one of those lucky people.

Having wanting to meet the Dalai Lama for a very long time, Rampal’s wishes finally came true when he got a phone call from his friend, stating that the Dalai Lama was in Pune.��”I immediately decided to travel with my family. It all happened very incidentally,” Hindustan Times reported the actor stating.

Rampal’s meeting reportedly lasted half an hour where he was given a lot of spiritual guidance and advice. “He told me that all my movies should have a message, which I feel is true for my last couple of releases,” Rampal goes onto say.

Talking about his encounter with the Dalai Lama, Rampal expresses, “Our meeting was really unique and special. He has a great sense of humour and child-like innocence. When you are in his company, you can�۪t fail but experience incredible energy.��He has a way of making you feel calm and composed. He will give you a great insight on life without making it sound like a lecture. I feel blessed and energised after the meeting.”

With quite a few films lined up for Rampal it seems luck is on his side. Let’s hope he follows through with the advice given.
