Vishal Bhardwaj’s ‘Rangoon’ to commence in November

The forthcoming film ‘Rangoon’, directed by Vishal Bhardwaj, is going to go on the floors in November. It appears the director sorted out the dates of his lead actors; Shahid Kapoor, Saif Ali Khan and Kangna Ranaut.

The shoot is supposed to begin in Arunachal Pradesh��on 9th November with the two male leads and Ranaut will join the shoot later. Right now, all three of them are prepping for their respective roles with Kapoor growing a beard for his character of an army officer. Ranaut will be seen as an actress from the 40s and Khan will be essaying the role of a filmmaker.

Bhardwaj is known for his intense cinema and his last film as director, ‘Haider’ (2014), saw box office success and critical acclaim. It is thought the director hopes to release ‘Rangoon’ in October next year.
