Vikrant Massey signed as protagonist for Hindi remake of ‘Maanagaram’

Vikrant Massey, who was last seen in ‘Dolly Kitty Aur Woh Chamakte Sitare’ (2020), has reportedly been signed for the Hindi remake of Tamil film ‘Maanagaram’ (2017).

E Times reports that the actor will be seen in the lead role of the action film and Sanjai Mishra has also been signed for the film. Producer Shibu Thameens confirmed, “Yes, you have got it right. It’s January 10 in Mumbai, a city which I love. And, the entire film will be shot at night. Almost the entire Mumbai will be covered. The characters in the Hindi version will be far more detailed than in the Tamil one”.

In terms of a leading lady, a source revealed, “The film’s team has zeroed down on two to three names. A final decision will be taken soon”.

Massey will be seen next in ‘Ginny Weds Sunny’ which will be releasing on Netflix.
