Vidyut & Kunal show displeasure at exclusion from Hotstar announcement
Today, Hotstar announced that seven films will be premiering on their platform – ‘Sadak 2’, ‘Bhuj: Pride of India’, ‘Laxmmi Bomb’, ‘Dil Bechara’, ‘The Big Bull’, ‘Lootcase’ and ‘Khuda Hafiz’. Vidyut Jammwal and Kunal Kemmu, who star in the latter two films were, it appears, not invited to the online announcement and they both used Twitter to show their unhappiness.
Among the “nepotism” row which has been inflamed in the aftermath of the death of Sushant Singh Rajput, netizens have raised their voices and continued to do so about non star kids being given preferential treatment – as such, having Alia Bhatt, Akshay Kumar, Ajay Devgn, Abhishek Bachchan and Akshay Kumar as part of the announcement has left many miffed and having Jammwal and Kemmu speaking out is quite embarrassing for the organisers of the event.
Izzat aur pyaar maanga nahi kamaya jaata hai. Koi na de toh usse hum chhote nahi hote. Bas maidaan khelne ke liye barabar de do chhalaang hum bhi oonchi laga sakte hai ?

A BIG announcement for sure!!
7 films scheduled for release but only 5 are deemed worthy of representation. 2 films, receive no invitation or intimation. It’s a long road ahead. THE CYCLE CONTINUES https://t.co/rWfHBy2d77— Vidyut Jammwal (@VidyutJammwal) June 29, 2020
