Vidya Balan ready to impress again as Kamala Das

Powerhouse performer Vidya Balan will be adding another feather to her cap as she starts her preparations for her new Malayalam film.

Balan is undertaking the lead role in an as yet untitled project, based on renowned poet and author Kamala Das. The film, split into three separate parts charting the life of Das, is being directed by noted Malayalam director Kamal. The actress has roped in celebrated Malayalam actress Sree Dhanya to help fine-tune her Malayalam language skills to ensure she pulls of the role with her usual level of finesse.

The film is expected to take off by the end of the month and will no doubt showcase this fine actress�۪ acting prowess once again. Prior to that, the audience will get to see Balan in the upcoming ��Kahaani 2�۪ and ��Begum Jaan�۪.
